Salvete!

The faculty of the MMXIV Gubernatoris Latina Academia met at Randolph Macon College in Ashland on March 22.  We agreed on a motto and a t-shirt design in record time and blazed through the other details (with a quick lunch break from Pepicelli's Pizza).  We also decided to reinvent a Latin Academy tradition by focusing our culture on a specific time period:  the Antonine Emperors.  We are using this to more authentically incorporate the ideas of families and social classes that we use to organize the academy.  We are all very excited about this and are already working on the research to fully implement this.  We are going to post some research links for those industrious students who want to start preparing for academy early.  We are looking forward to meeting you, discipuli discipulaeque!
