dies martis

This morning the students went to their alpha beta gamma classes for the first time. In Greek Dr Casey taught the Greek alphabet and accenting. In MENIN AGAN magistra Wilkins introduced the Iliad and Bronze Age archaeology. In MENTE TENENTEM magister Cavedo introduced the poems and authors for the class, and taught the class to read Catullus' ODI ET AMO aloud.
After lunch the first QUAESTIO was held and students were able to work alone, in groups, or with the magistri on what they have learned in class the last two days. Try outs for the play were amazing and fantastic, and parts will be announced at lunch tomorrow.
After dinner in togas the whole academy gathered at the fountain plaza for pictures in their Roman dress. Then those running for positions gave their speeches and voting took place. Congratulations to those elected!
